“I am endlessly grateful to our midwife, Rachel, who supported me through the birth of our daughter. Rachel was a steady, loving, and wise presence the entire time. With Rachel there, I felt as though my choices and my own body’s wisdom were able to lead. I was in a fearless place, completely focused within myself, while also knowing that Rachel was making sure all was well. I felt like the angels had arranged for us the perfect midwife for this beautiful birth of our first baby, and I will tell my daughter the story of her birth, and how she came into the world with ease, with love, and with joy. We remain forever grateful to Rachel for her care, her expertise, and her steady, love-filled presence at our daughter’s birth.”

Moriah was our midwife for our third baby and our first home birth. She is both a powerhouse of knowledge and compassionate - the perfect blend. She was so attentive to my concerns leading up to birth as my baby was breech until 37 weeks, providing me with tips as well as encouragement. She is cued into the mental and emotional side of families and it proved to be so beneficial throughout the prenatal appointments all the way to the postpartum checkups. During our birth Moriah was calm and caring, aware of my mental state, and full of wisdom in each stage. We had the most beautiful labor and delivery, everything we prayed and dreamed of! Our family completely trusts Moriah and would have her as our midwife time and time again!

“Moriah was an essential part of our pregnancy journey and the unfolding of this new chapter in our family’s story. She brought a depth we didn’t even know we were seeking—holding space for us not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Moriah became a true ally to our family, deeply attuned to our baby and able to communicate with his spirit in a way that brought more reverence and clarity to our pregnancy. Her care helped us birth not only a healthy child, but a stronger bond as a couple and a more connected family.”

Moriah Melin's calm and confidence steadied my pregnancy and managed our unexpected delivery complications flawlessly. Moriah prepared us for our home birth not only logistically but also mentally and spiritually. I credit Moriah with my son's life as well as healing residual birth trauma for our entire family in our post-birth session. As a family, we are beyond grateful to Moriah for helping us bond and break free of unhealthy patterns of relating to each other. Thank you Moriah for how you have gone above and beyond the call as a midwife to foster a healthy family outcome! “

“Rachel’s expertise, passion for birth and genuine compassion for her patients were evident at every appointment. As a first-time mom, this was incredibly reassuring. Having a physiological birth was deeply important to me, and her calming presence and encouraging words during my son’s birth provided exactly the support I needed to stay grounded and connected to my body throughout the experience.”

“We are so grateful we had Rachel at the birth of our daughter. She always put any of my worries at ease and supported all of my choices leading up to my daughter’s birth. While in labor Rachel made me feel so empowered, supported, safe, cared for and loved. She met me exactly where I was emotionally and physically and never left my side. I felt so held in the most vulnerable yet strongest moment of my life. Throughout my whole journey Rachel had a beautiful way of using her sense of humor to make me comfortable and at ease- I felt so safe and grounded with her. I feel forever grateful to have had Rachel by my side! I cannot recommend her enough! - Rebecca Poole-Gulick
